Andrew Saennie Kamara Esq. is a career Civil Servant with over 18 years of dedicated service to the Government and people of Sierra Leone.

Andrew joined the Ministry of Information and Civic Education in August, 2024 as Permanent Secretary having previously worked in a number of other Ministries including the Ministry of Defence, Local Government and Rural Development, Information and Communications, Agriculture and Food Security and the office of the President where he was an Assistant to the Secretary to the President.

In addition to his vast experience in public sector management, Permanent Secretary Andrew S. Kamara is also a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Cour of Sierra Leone.
